Woodland students had a special invitation to come to The Tech Museum in San Jose and program Willow Garage's PR2 robot. Ms. Marzouk was very happy to see her students attend the exhibit and come and program the robot!

Overall Goals of Each Class
Kindergarten- Spatial awareness, motor-eye coordination, integration of technology and design, insight to how things work
1st- Basics of using a computer, drawing and typing on computer, computer as a tool to create and do research on multimedia websites
2nd- Basics of using a computer, drawing and typing on computer, computer as a tool to create and do research on multimedia websites, being creative with computer tools.
3rd- Combining pictures and text, drawing shapes, Powerpoint, Word, Excel
4th- Draw with Shapes, Develop an idea while working on a computer, Create a project, Robot programming
7th- Develop logical reasoning and ability to execute ideas through programming.
8th- Develop logical reasoning and ability to execute ideas through programming. Complete a proposed design challenge.
