Our Classroom Designs
Students have been challenged to redesign the pencil. First they interviewed others about what they like and dislike about the everyday pencil. Then they drew some sketches on what an improved version of a pencil would look like. Afterwards students modeled their concepts in clay. Students will next bring in the other parts that they may need to bring their ideas to life and then computer model and 3-d print custom parts for their design.
